Menanti dengan sabar dan setia

Reflecting on the past events that have passed makes me pause for a moment, take a step back, and ponder what I have done before. However, I know that dwelling too much on my past will not bring me much benefit. What’s done is done, and I have already started a new chapter in my life.

Lately, I don’t know why, but many of my friends have been sharing their disappointments in relationships with me. I don’t always know how to respond to these matters—I can only offer encouragement, reminding them not to dwell too much on it and to keep their eyes fixed on Jesus Christ. I don’t have much experience in love—perhaps I have some, but not enough to use as a foundation to advise others.

Until now, I still haven’t found the person I am truly looking for. I don’t know why, but I choose to rely on God alone. I don’t want love and marriage to be just about satisfying the desires of the flesh—instead, I want to fulfill God’s purpose in His creation of man and woman. I see many of my younger friends already very mature in relationships, and I admire them—but as for me, I am simply not ready yet.

Jeremiah 29:11—For God knows my future, and I don’t have to worry about it. This verse has been my stepping stone to continue believing in His promises. The same goes for all of you—what we have now is not forever. If today we are standing at the very bottom, I truly believe that one day, you will stand at the very top. Wait for God's answer with patience and faithfulness.

"Father, I am grateful because I believe today will be filled with joy, hope, and strength that come from You. I invite Your Holy Spirit to work within me so that I can walk every path with confidence, knowing You are with me. I surrender my family and friends into Your hands. Every challenge and conflict we face—I want to give it all to You. May You take control of everything. Father, once again, I lift up my gratitude, praise, and honor only to You. In Your Name, Father, I pray. Amen."
